Civil Nuclear Constabulary training exercise

The Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) will be holding a training exercise at Dounreay on the evening of Wednesday, March 14, that will include both DSRL and Northern Constabulary staff.

The exercise will involve the limited use of pyrotechnic devices that may be heard outwith the site.

The exercise will have no significant impact on public roads other than an increase in the number of marked Police vehicle patrols.

The CNC is a specialist armed police service dedicated to the civil nuclear industry and has 1200 officers and staff based at 15 civil nuclear sites in Scotland, England and Wales.
